New Homes Boise Idaho - New Construction Trends Ada County
Ada County’s Development Services Dept. tracks new construction trends in Boise, Meridian, Garden City, Eagle and Kuna. They found that new construction is slowing down which is great news! This will help stabilize the Boise real estate market and reduce the inventory on homes on the market.
The department issued 1,837 building permits in 2007, which is down from 2,491 permits issued in 2006.
The number of permits issued in 2007 is close to the number issued in 2002.
This goes to show that Ada County’s development trends are cyclical; no surprise there. This means that we will have another boom eventually; its just a matter of when.
The Boise real estate market is in transition now, but the Development Dept. believes Ada County will continue to see normal growth.
