National Media is Causing Un-Warranted Fear in the Boise Real Estate Market
Be cautious of media reports regarding the Boise Real Estate Market!
The media has a strong effect on the Boise housing market. They love bad news - after all, that’s what sells. The slowing of the Boise real estate market was precipitated by the local media’s reports on how ”sales were slowing down,” but they were really comparing apples to oranges - I’m not going to open up that can of worms.
Its unfortunate that the media continues to plant these “seeds of fear.”
Every time I turn on the news, all of the major television networks are going on an on about the housing woe’s across the country. They are calling it a crisis. Sure - some cities have rows and rows of foreclosures, but not Boise Idaho!
I always try to take what they say with a grain of salt.
Be careful how you allow the media to influence your decisions.
Look at the facts in the local Boise Real Estate market, not just speculation.
