I Review Idaho Neighborhoods! I look at loads of properties in various subdivisions. I’m immersed in the housing market more than any normal person should be, so I’ll take this opportunity to elaborate on the Idaho subdivisions I do and don’t like.

BridgeTower Subdivision Meridian Idaho

Every now and then I come across a unique subdivision in Idaho that is worth talking about. BridgeTower is one of the best planned mid-range housing communities in Meridian. (I’d like to make it clear that I am not being paid to promote this subdivision). 

BridgeTower is located in Meridian Idaho on 750 acres flowing with brightly colored flowers, parks, playgrounds, gathering places and 2 swimming pools. It has a peaceful, family-oriented, friendly setting. There is a unique Mediterranean theme with Italian inspired street names. It also has beautiful trellised patios scattered with terra cotta pots and numerous fountains.

It is a very large community, but has plenty of room to play with 57 acres of open space. The developer also has future plans for expanding Bridge Tower.

The motto of BridgeTower subdivision is, “The soul of Italy, the heart of Idaho.” There are separate communities within the subdivision comprising of 50 homes each and ranging in price and size. Homes in this subdivision range from 1,800 sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft with an average of 2,800 sq.ft. to 3,000 sq.ft. Prices range between $200,000 and $700,000.

There are only a handful of builders in this community. I see this as the only drawback in this because there is not as much variety of homes as I would like to see. On the flip side, the builders have all managed to build homes with an “Old World” charm.

This Meridian subdivision is fairly new; started in 2001, but the landscape, tree lined streets and unique design; give the feel of an established Idaho community.
