Boise Real Estate Foreclosures
March home Foreclosures in all of Idaho were down 15% from the previous month.
Is this positive media reporting I smell?…
Nationwide the trend in foreclosures is still negative, but Idaho’s strong economy is holding up the local real estate market.
Ada County and Canyon County saw the Biggest Rebounds!
According to the Idaho Statesman’s front page article on April 16, 2008, across Idaho, the Treasure Valley Real Estate market improved the most.
Ada County had 226 foreclosure filings in March, which is a 21% drop from February.
Canyon County had 162 filings, a 24% drop from February.
Another good sign: builders aren’t producing as many new construction properties. A lower inventory of homes will strengthen the Ada and Canyon county markets even more. The supply of Boise Real Estate should slowly come back into balance with demand.
